Meet Max...

Anyone who uses Light Rail and gets off at the 23rd Street Station walking south has probably met Max. He lives on 24th & S and is this giant mass of white & blond fur with the most beautiful blue eyes this side of StuKitty (who only has one blue eye... other one's green). Max loves waiting for people to get off light rail so he can get plenty of scratches & cuddles and is seriously one of the best neighborhood cats around. So next time you're in the area, keep an eye out for him and say hi! He's one of Sacramento's best kept secrets. Until now. :)

It's been far too long since I've updated Sacra-mental, and to all 4 of you who follow, I apologize. I had no idea PGEW would take off like it did and take up so much of my time! Don't fret; I'm still taking pictures of random stuff around town. Take this gentleman's hair, for example:

It's a bit hard to tell because the bus hit a bump and this got blurry, but I kid you not, this dude's fro was shaped into a fro-hawk. YES!!!

Bacon-fresh clothing?

Seen in someone's front yard as I was walking down W Street one Sunday morning...... I don't know what's worse: the proximity of the bacon to the clothing, or the bad Calvin Klein undies....

I practically wanted to curl this into my hair, I was so happy to finally do it. Early voting may be fine for some, I want to do it on the actual DAY!!!!! Now if only Doris Matsui would grant me inauguration tix. Just think of what I could photograph then.

I love these.... an old roommate of mine used to grow them in our yard and he said they were called Angel's Trumpets. I call them delicately beautiful.
